Cross cultural

(Management) Trainings, Coachings and Supervision

...to optimize the effectiveness of business people who manage major projects

All of us spend a great deal of time at our workplaces. If people understand, communication, group influences, and cultural differences, not only their chances of job satisfaction will increase but also their abilities self-confidence, efficiency and success .

Culture gives guidance for everyday behaviors. It gives guidance on acceptable ways of dealing with regularly recurring issues. These include all aspects of live. The own culture is just one of many cultures. Often, cultures guide people toward quite different behaviors associated with these recurring issues. Each culture creates a mental image of what is "real" and of what people can expect from each other unspokenly.

Difficulties arise when people do not understand this cultural difference. If two people continue their conversation along the same line for 15 minutes or more, they are likely to make contrasting conclusions. If they understand the cultural difference, however, they will be able to move beyond initial impressions and may be able to appreciate each other's approach. If they decide to interact again, they will likely experience the richness of understanding a wide variety of cultural differences.

Encouraging people to move beyond initial impressions, and to seek culturally based reasons for misunderstandings, are some of  our goals and offerings.

We assist expatriates being puzzled by cultural differences, loneliness and homesickness, difficulties communicating effectively with host nationals, and so forth.

The benefit of cross cultural trainings and coachings is not the standardization of behavior in a multicultural variety of a global world, but the transfer of competence to cope with the diversity in a cooperative and successful manner.

Cross cultural workshops create a sensibility for the own cultural behavior. Our concepts are solution-orientated and focus the individual holostically with all it's needs and requirements.

Therefore the contents mentioned below can only be examples for our trainings, coachings and supervisions and are constantly modified according to the individual aims and essentials of our clients.
